CLUB
STYLE
In our club, we practice the European ju-jitsu (EJJ) Jiyu-Ryu Goshin-jutsu style. Our style has been influenced by judo’s Kodokan Goshin Jutsu. Kodokan Goshin-jutsu includes self-defense techniques from judo - mainly neck locks, shoulder locks, wrist locks, knee, and ankle locks - which are all forbidden in competition judo matches.
Similar techniques are practiced in Brazilian ju-jitsu.
Jiyu-Ryu Goshin-Jutsu has a similar philosophy as Jujutsu 2000 hybrid style –the freedom to choose techniques.
It has also had influences from Aikido, Karate, and other styles of ju-jutsu as well as kickboxing and grappling
.
If you have experience of any style of martial arts, you are welcome to come and practice with us.
